Brehm's Annual Giving Campaign a success!

We would like to thank the hundreds of alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, corporations and foundations who helped us reach our goal of $300,000 during the Brehm 2009-2010 Annual Giving Campaign.

We've already started the 2010-2011 Annual Giving Campaign. Your donation makes our unique education possible. Annual Giving gifts help Brehm support a strong faculty, provide funds for student programs, improve our campus, and purchase equipment to meet our student educational and holistic challenges for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year.

What is Brehm?

Brehm is an accredited junior-senior high school. A family style boarding school for students, grades 6 through 12, with complex learning disabilities.

OPTIONS Program at Brehm serves post high school students with learning disabilities who need to further develop academic and social skills required for success in college, vocational/technical school, and the workplace.

Brehm Preparatory School Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, offers a unique holistic program that individually addresses each student’s academic, emotional, and social needs.

Brehm uses the term “complex” learning disabilities in recognition that students experience difficulties in multiple areas of functioning. Brehm’s holistic program focuses on the combined academic, social and emotional effects of having a learning disability.

Our students often have multiple diagnoses affecting their performance with the core issue of having a language-based etiology. We recognize the combined effects of LD/ADD, language based processing issues, executive function issues and the social and psychological implications of not being successful in an academic environment. Brehm offers direct interventions for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, NLD, aspergers, anxiety disorder, tourettes, auditory processing disorder, speed of processing disorders and interventions requiring behavioral and emotional support as it relates to academic issues.
