Remembering Brehm during the Holidays

During the rush and business of the holiday season we encourage our faithful and new parents to remember Brehm when considering an end-of-the year tax deductible gift.

Brehm is currently running behind compared to last year's giving and the goals for the 2008-09 Annual Giving Campaign. We need $79,737 by December 31st to reach our campaign projections.

If you have not contributed to the annual fund by December 31st so that your 100% tax deductible donation will count toward the 2008 tax year, please do so now. Your gift may include cash, credit card, check, shares of stock, donations of insurance policies, inclusions in wills, services and/or products. You may send a check to:

What is Brehm?

Brehm is an accredited junior-senior high school. A family style boarding school for students, grades 6 through 12, with complex learning disabilities.

OPTIONS Program at Brehm serves post high school students with learning disabilities who need to further develop academic and social skills required for success in college, vocational/technical school, and the workplace.

Brehm Preparatory School Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, offers a unique holistic program that individually addresses each student’s academic, emotional, and social needs.

Brehm uses the term “complex” learning disabilities in recognition that students experience difficulties in multiple areas of functioning. Brehm’s holistic program focuses on the combined academic, social and emotional effects of having a learning disability.

Our students often have multiple diagnoses affecting their performance with the core issue of having a language-based etiology. We recognize the combined effects of LD/ADD, language based processing issues, executive function issues and the social and psychological implications of not being successful in an academic environment. Brehm offers direct interventions for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, NLD, aspergers, anxiety disorder, tourettes, auditory processing disorder, speed of processing disorders and interventions requiring behavioral and emotional support as it relates to academic issues.
