It's Brehm Move-in Weekend!

Brehm dorm parents and other staff members began to meet
and greet students and families at 8am this morning.

Welcome! This is the big move-in weekend, the start of another great school year here at Brehm School. Students and their families come from across the country (and the globe) to prepare students for another year of academic, social and emotional progress. It's Saturday morning and sunny, with no chance of rain (and the temperature very comfortable). It couldn't be a nicer day. The formal registration/check-in takes place in the gymnasium located in the Student Activity Center. Families make "the rounds" to about a dozen info tables. The info tables include Registration, Student ID cards (family/student picture), Academic schedule (work with academic coordinator of educational services Terri Douglas), Residential life, Nursing, Speech and Language (meet with Speech and Language Director Brad Sims), Technology (every student gets a brand new Apple laptop loaded with assistive software on Monday) and more. Through the very active Brehm Parents Association, returning families are paired up with new families to assist with the transition. The All Parent Orientation (manditory) takes place on Sunday at 1pm to 2:30pm in the Stundent Activities Center dining hall.
