Success with Complex Learning Disabilities — Part 1 of 12

Brehm: Part 1 of 12

As proud family members cheer, Dr. Richard Collins congratulates
Elisha at her Brehm graduation ceremony.

From Brehm’s Headmaster:
Welcome to Brehm School, where we empower students with complex learning disabilities, grades 6 through 12, to recognize and achieve their full potential.

I know it’s difficult for parents to consider a specialized boarding school for their child in need. But not finding real help will be more difficult for the family and the child in the years to come.

Since 1982, in partnership with families just like yours, Brehm has been successfully teaching LD students to “learn how to learn.” Our “family style” 24/7 boarding school is uniquely designed to foster independence and responsibility.

Brehm is a small, accredited, not-for-profit school with a staff of 150, and we limit our focus to about 100 students a year.

I’m proud to work with the best staff of LD experienced professionals in the country. As we work together, setting goals, sharing and reporting progress daily on our students, I can’t imagine working with a better set of people.

All of us become fully invested and 100% committed toward one goal every day — to move each student forward.

And we do just that.

Where other schools have failed students, Brehm delivers success. Brehm students go on to college, find fulfilling careers and become successful entrepreneurs.

Nothing is more satisfying than the breakthroughs we make here at Brehm especially when alumni thank us for the tools we gave them years ago, as they live happy independent lives.

Give us a call about our program or to find resources in your area. We’re here to help in any way we can.

Sincerely,
Richard Collins, Ph.D.
Brehm Executive Director/Headmaster

P.S. I am an adult dyslexic with ADD who did not read until the fifth grade. A boarding school gave me the tools I needed to achieve my full potential.
